Allan was well-known DJ in Melbourne, where there was a whole metal scene happening. It was somewhat out of the loop for touring bands so Allan pro-actively recruited bands to come, arranged travel and investors to pay for airfare (which was like $3k per person at the time) and set up gigs when you got there, equipment rental etc.

We tried to weeks to make it happen, but he couldn’t put it together, no shame on him, we were totally unknown, without a major label contract and played power metal, which wasn’t the dominant genre at the time.

I spent tons on phone bills talking about it, did interviews with a bunch of Aussie radio stations, sold tons of tapes, but we couldn’t get over the hump and get an investor to back the tour.  Aw well, what might have been.
